What is Wildcats?
Are you looking for a fun way for girls 5-11 to get involved with football? Then look no further! Weetabix Wildcats is the place to be, everyone is super awesome; from the friends you’ll meet to the FA qualified coaches and volunteers who deliver the sessions.
So, what is Weetabix Wildcats?
Well, it’s non-competitive football for girls who want to give it a go for the very first time or want to play with other girls their own age. Most importantly, Weetabix Wildcats is all about having loads of fun and meeting new amazing friends.
Aged 12-15? Try Squad Girls!
As one of the first Squad Girls Centres authorised by Somerset FA, our sessions cater for ages 12-15 in the exact same way as Wildcats.

Who runs Weston Mendip’s Wildcat sessions?
Wildcats is led by FA Level 2 and Weston-super-Mare AFC JPL coach Luke Ford, and is supported by April, Summer & Izzy, alongside various club volunteers and players alike.

How can my daughter attend a Wildcats session?
We direct all girls aged 5-12 to our Wildcats sessions, which aim at beginners to teach them basic football skills in a fun game-based environment. All they would need is a drink and some shin pads. The sessions takes place on artificial grass through the winter so ideally a pair of football boots needs to be worn, however Trainers will suffice.
There is a cost of £3 per week.
How does she progress to a team?
If they enjoy wildcats and once they have been seen by the coaching team, they can move up to the league team for their age group.
