Green Sox U10s make solid start to 2024/25 season

The Green Sox have made a good start to their 2024-25 season. The development games have gone well as they prepare for next year’s transition into 9 a side. As it stands the team have played 10 competitive fixtures this year winning 8, drawing 1 with 1 defeat. In the Autumn Cup competition, the girls defeated Shine Saints, Frys and St Nicholas before winning the final against a strong Downend Swifts team 3-0 in the final.

The squad has increased to 13 with new additions Summer Stokes, Francesca Trinka and Kizzie Berry successfully joining a talented group of girls which are starting to get recognition for their performances. 3 of the girls Cora Puddy, Scarlet Holland and Aila Couston made it through to the Somerset Emerging Talent Centre based at Street showcasing their skills at regular sessions.

The team is kindly sponsored by AJE Services Ltd, who provided the squad with a fabulous new kit for this season.
